Prof. Dr. Merih Önol was born in 1956, completed his primary education in Germany, and completed his high school education at Ankara Atatürk High School in 1974 and started Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. Graduated in 1980, Dr. Merih Önol started in the same year, by winning the assistant exam in the ophthalmology clinic of the same faculty, and became an ophthalmologist in 1984. Although Dr. Merih Önol works in many departments of ophthalmology, he is particularly interested in glaucoma and cataract and continues his career in these areas.
